Behaviour Support for Children & Teens

Wollongong & Illawarra

When a child's behaviour becomes hard to manage — meltdowns, defiance, aggression, or refusing to go to school — it's exhausting and worrying, and it affects the whole family. I help families across Wollongong and the Illawarra understand what's driving the behaviour and respond in ways that actually work.

With over 20 years' experience and a background in special education and positive behaviour support, I look beneath the behaviour to the need underneath it — because behaviour is communication.

I support children and teenagers experiencing meltdowns and emotional overwhelm, oppositional and defiant behaviour, aggression at home or school, school refusal, difficulty with routines and transitions, and behaviour linked to ADHD, autism or trauma.

Rather than just managing behaviour, we work out why it's happening, then build practical, compassionate strategies that fit your family. I work alongside parents — and where helpful, schools — so everyone responds consistently. My practice is trauma-informed, evidence-based and strengths-based.

No referral and no long waitlist — just accessible support when you need it, in person across the Illawarra or via telehealth throughout NSW.
